Our clients will know that the period from November 2024 through all of 2025 and continuing into 2026 has seen our team extremely busy transitioning into our new brand and business under the Wealth and Asset Advisors name. It has been a time of enormous achievement on many fronts but without reservation we can honestly say that our proudest achievement has been our collaboration with a young visually impaired artist and the catalyst that our faith in her abilities has been in putting her solidly on the local Overstrand map in establishing her bespoke pottery business. This is her story.

In the quiet coastal town of Betty’s Bay, nestled between the rugged Kogelberg mountains and the Atlantic Ocean, artist Ingrid Dave is redefining what it means to “see” art. Born visually impaired Ingrid has never allowed her lack of sight to dim her creative vision. Instead, she has harnessed a profound connection to the earth, translating the vibrant colours and organic textures of South Africa into exquisite, hand-crafted pottery.

For Ingrid, the natural world is not just a view, it is a feeling. Her inspiration is drawn directly from “Mother Nature,” focusing on the natural forms that surround her home.
